The countdown to the final draw for the brand new Mazda 6 valued at R 263 000 in Blackrock Casino’s Grand Payout promotion has begun. With less than two weeks to go until the draw on the 29th of January 2012, things are heating up.

According to the casino’s General Manager, John McGregor, it’s not only the plush new vehicle up for grabs on that day, there is also cash and other prizes to be won. The main draw for the car takes place at 9pm but there will be hourly draws taking place in the run-up to that, from 3pm to 8pm where six additional semi finalists will be drawn. They will be entered into the final draw along with the other semi finalists from weekly draws that have taken place since the start of the promotion. Altogether, there will be 18 semi finalists vying for the car.

“We’ve got some fun activities and challenges planned to eliminate 10 of the semi finalists to whittle the number down to 8. Only one of these people will get to drive away in the stunning new Mazda,” he says.
