There will be lots of blooming fun over the next few weeks at Blackrock Casino to ring in the new season.
The casino will be a kaleidoscope of colour on the first day of spring; staff will be dressed in their favourite, bright colours and all Players Club members will receive a gift when visiting the complex. Guests can also win fantastic prizes for dressing in the spirit of the season. Additional spot prizes will be awarded throughout the day as special Spring Day games and promotions continue to raise the hype and excitement on the gaming floor.
Staff will once again dress up on 24 September; this time in celebration of Heritage Day. Casino guests are encouraged to do the same. There will be spot prizes for patrons donning outfits showing their heritage. Players Club members who receive a prize for dressing up will also receive a bonus gift.
With the school holidays just around the corner, Blackrock Casino is stepping up its kids programme. Throughout the holiday period, children can be entertained at the complex with colouring-in, movies, Playstation games and a jumping castle. The area is fully-supervised by child caregivers from 1pm until 10pm Friday.
While the kids are busy, moms in need of a “little me time” can treat themselves to a few relaxing and rejuvenating hours at the Spa and Wellness Centre. There is a delectable menu of spa treatments including beauty, skin and body treatments on offer. If not, why not?
Blackrock Casino will be pumping up the volume on 2 October when some of the biggest brands in car sound will be at the complex for the Car Sound Show. This is a must-see for anyone who likes their music and likes it loud and clear.
“As always, there is a lot to do at Blackrock Casino and we certainly do our best to have something on offer for everyone. With spring finally here, we’ve got a number of activities and entertainment up our sleeves to get our guests into the spirit of the season. We encourage everyone to get down to the casino and get in on the act. Spring is a blooming good reason to get out and have some fun,” says John McGregor, general manager of Blackrock Casino and Entertainment Complex.
While the spring activities and holiday programme are in full swing, guests can still enjoy the usual thrilling and action-packed gaming that Blackrock Casino is famous for. There is a choice of slot machines, progressive slots and table games such as blackjack, roulette and Poker. Those wanting exclusive gaming time can visit the Salon Prive.
